Beau is an award winning playwright, actor, musician and the founding artistic director for Firebrand Theatre based in Peterborough, Ontario. His writing journey began in 2005, when he was commissioned by Arbor Theatre (Peterborough) to write a one-act play for Black History Month, From Here to Africville. Since that time Beau has written six more plays, many of which have toured across Canada to schools and have been seen by more than 5,000 students. Beau’s writing has earned him multiple awards, including two Dora Mavor Moore Awards for Beneath Springhill: The Maurice Ruddick Story.
Beau is an award winning self taught actor, playwright, composer and director who presently spends his time living in Peterborough and Toronto.
